This weekend marks the final Electric Island of the season. To wrap things up they’ve decided to switch things up and make it a two day festival. As expected both days have completely stacked line ups.

DAY 1 has the likes of Sean Miller, Bicep, Justin Martin, Nicole Moudaber and GET REAL (Claude Vonstroke & Green Velvet), as well as some of Toronto’s finest local talent. Everyone of these acts could headline the festival and we’d be happy, but our #1 pick for day 1 has to be Bicep. Having a huge year in 2015 and 2016, they’ll be bringing nothing but heat with their dusty analog sound. And with an upcoming album, you can expect some exclusive cuts from that as well. As for the early arrivals, be sure to catch the locals Members Only as they are some of the city’s best selectors.

DAY 2 looks just as heavy as the first day with Loco Dice, Dixon, Ame, Guy J and Fatima Yamaha, we’ve got alot of aquatic shit to experience. Everyone on this lineup will be dope, it’s too hard to pick a favourite. It’s probably best to show up early and not miss anyone, as all of these acts rarely come to Canada. The local talent again, is some of the finest the city has to offer.

As the season comes to an end, we feel Electric Island is becoming one of the best festivals around and we can’t wait to see what we have look forward to next year. As for now, we’ll see you kids on the island sunday!
