Yesterday, Calgary’s HERO released the second single off his upcoming album ‘VHS POP’ titled ‘Drown Down Here’. He describes his sound on ‘VHS POP’ as “quality pared-back electronica with soul, mixing up heavy basslines with retro synths and a distorted vocal that somehow retains genuine pop sensibility.”. After listening to ‘Drown Down Here’ his description of his sound is bang on in our opinion.

His  debut EP ‘VHS POP’ is slated to release on September 2nd, 2016, so make sure to mark that day in your calendar. Also, check out his first single ‘The Juice’ if you haven’t yet, it’s dope too!
