This morning, Black Loops and Toy Tonics dropped the second track off of the upcoming Black Loos & Innocent Soul EP ‘High Cutz’. Rumour has it Black Loops is coming to Toronto early 2018 :).

“For their first release of 2018, Toy Tonics stalwarts Black Loops is joined in the studio by fellow Italian producer Innocent Soul, head honcho of the recently launched Strictly Street Sounds imprint. The EP’s four tracks offer a perfect blend of the former’s groovy, chunky deep house sound and the sample-heavy, Chicago-inspired disco-house jams favoured by the latter. Highlights include “Black Soul”, a funk-fuelled peak-time jam rich in Hamilton Bohannon style guitar loops and elastic bass guitar samples, the James Brown break-fired weightiness of “Bang the Dancefloor” and the squidgy deep house funk of “The Flame”, which boasts a particularly rush-inducing breakdown.”
