This Saturday Berlin-based legend Ricardo Villalobos returns to Toronto for the first time since spring of 2014.

In the 3 years since being here last, Ricardo has made several appearances on the radar. Some good, others not so much, but none-the-less always keeping true to his eccentric style.

Whether he’s headlining the mainstage at a festival, or throwing questionable dance moves in a small dark venue, one of the things we’ve always respected and admired about Ricardo is unapologetic authenticity. The dude just really doesn’t give a fuck about trying to be something he’s not I think that’s the reason we love him so much.

We look forward to attending this rare occurrence in the Toronto-sphere, as we know we might not get the chance to witness another Ricardo sighting in the years to come.
