Movement 2017 Festival Lineup

Movement 2017

The Movement Electronic Music Festival takes place every Memorial Day weekend inside Hart Plaza – Detroit’s legendary riverfront destination. The festival features: More than 110 of electronic music’s most illustrious artists performing in the birthplace of Techno; six outdoor stages; engaging art displays curated by top talent; a posh VIP setting located behind the Main Stage; an interactive technology center featuring the industry’s top electronic music instrument makers; and stellar additional programming each night after the festival closes, with dozens of official afterparties at several of the city’s hottest clubs and event spaces. Over 30,000 people a day from around the globe attended the 2016 festival.

Following Movement Detroit’s initial lineup announcement, which included Monday’s Main Stage headliner Carl Cox as well as The Belleville Three, Adam Beyer, Barclay Crenshaw, Danny Brown, Dixon and many more, the festival organizers are excited to reveal over 40 additional acts to its 2017 lineup, bringing this year’s billing to 113 performances. Today’s Phase 2 Lineup announcement features world-renowned electronic music artist and producer deadmau5 under his Testpilot alias asSunday’s Main Stage headliner and Techno pioneer Richie Hawtin as Saturday’s Main Stage headliner. Movement returns to Detroit’s legendary Hart Plaza on Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29, 2017
