Gang Starr’s last album ‘The Ownerz’ in 2003 was one of the first Hip Hop albums i bought from a store. At the time I was 12 years old and was obsessed with Gang Starr partly due to my older brother also being a huge fan. I listened to the ‘Moment of Truth’ CD thousand of times and when they dropped ‘The Ownerz’ I got my mom to drive me to the closest HMV as soon as possible. The video for their single ‘Skillz’ is still a classic!

16 years later Premo has finally resurrected Gang Starr and I couldn’t be happier. Check the first single below!
