Jamws is an alt pop artist from South London and ‘Catalina’ is his debut single.

“I’ve always been skeptical of the idea of ‘The One’ – someone you’re meant to be with forever.
But I do feel that at moments in our lives, we can truly believe that the person we’re with is our soulmate and, regardless of what comes after, that moment is real. ‘Catalina’ is about me experiencing that feeling.

Music
The song is pretty much just four gospel-y piano chords but a lot of the texture comes from the super wavy synth sounds, I was listening to a lot of Tame Impala at the time and I was pretty obsessed with making it sound sunny.
