Today, Matty announces his Déjàvu LP due June 15th. Along with the announcement Matty shares his next single off the project “Clear”. The single follows “Embarrassed” and “How Can He Be” and highlights Matty’s vocals in addition to his composing and production work.

Matty shares about how the song came together explaining, “‘Clear’ is the first full song I demo’d with Frank Dukes two years ago and it was the last song I finished on the record. It started with a minute-long, poorly performed iPhone recording of the chords / lyrics, and I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to play it for him. When we started working on it he made the melody the focal point of the song. With this in mind we completely restructured it and it quickly became a favorite for both of us. Writing this song helped me realize my patterns in intimate relationships that I still struggle with.”
